WE ALL SEEK JUSTICE AND NOBODY IS OKAY
[Another murder, another investigation, another trial, another execution. Unlike last time, it wasn't self-defense, and although they caught him, she's pretty sure nobody is happy. It was sentencing someone to death, after all.
Knowing that, Dlanor writes something on the back of profiles she took from the bulletin board, passing them under the doors. When in a hurry, use what you have, and those profiles will be back sooner or later, anyway]
Please come to the train station. Let's spend some time in each other's company, for our sake
[If you decide to come, you'll find whoever wrote that note has been working hard to make things somewhat nice. There's a few...whatever we all have been using as cups all this time...filled with milk -- evaporated milk with some water, it seems. Tastes almost like normal milk. Dlanor also brought a few twigs and a small piece of log from the sawmull, and seems to be currently trying to make a fire. Some warmth should be nice, right?
Come on, everyone, let's sit around this bunch of wood and strengthten our bonds]

He is actually standing a good distance away from the party, still in eyesight but very clearly not actively participating in it. He knew people would be angry at him and, well, maybe it won't be a bad idea to become a bystander again.
Perhaps the most thing that seems off about him as a ghost is he is now completely monochrome, almost like someone from a black and white TV set.
And, if you watch closely, he flickers strangely every now and again in the shade. It's only for a few seconds at a time, but it doesn't seem entirely normal there.
But he won't be making any efforts to talk to anyone at this party, so if you want him you'll have to go to him yourself.

Mr. Narrator. Can I talk to you?
no subject
You may.
no subject
I wanted to apologize. I'm sorry for just...assuming you had done what you did to protect only yourself. It was wrong for me to think that way.
[She'd been quick to believe him when he insinuated he didn't care about the people of The Twilight Zone, after all.]

But, first:]
How are you feeling?
no subject
As good as I can, I suppose. I knew what I was getting into, and I accepted my end. It's the most I could ask for in a situation like this.
no subject
[A pause.]
Do you realize you're kind of... flickering? The others haven't done that, as far as I've noticed.

[For someone who was shouting for his death, Dlanor sure is rather courteous, looking at him with something very close to pity]
...I admit I didn't expect you to COME. I thought you would have preferred to be away from all of US.

[She looks away]
That is simply how I act in my capacity as an Inquisitor of Heresy, and given how I am passing judgment and condemning to death here as well, it helps me focus and leave aside my FEELINGS. The rest of the time I don't enjoy being quite so cold-HEARTED.

How's being dead treating you, so far?
[There's not a lot of small talk options for a ghost, and its not like the Narrator is scandalized by blunt morbidity.]
no subject
I was right, not missing food one bit.

[Watson's halfhearted grin fades, and he looks solemn.]
I'm. Not sure if it's the right thing to say here, but. Thank you. I sincerely hate what happened, and I feel awful for Angus and Mae, but what you did might have very well saved a lot of people those of us here love. Not to mention billions of strangers in all those worlds.
... If I had lost Holmes again, and known he was lost to me forever, I don't really know what I'd have done.

[She sighs, sitting down in the dirt next to him. Cheryl's tired. Like really, really tired.]
I had told her to beat the hell out of the murderer when we first found Angus. But... it was too painful to watch. I couldn't stand it anymore.

[Juno's just going to cautiously approach the Narrator. He's still not entirely comfortable with the whole ghost thing.]
H...Hey?
[How do you talk to a ghost]

Good evening, Juno.
